People are always afraid to try to match prints together. There is always this fear of becoming a 70s living room and trust me I completely understand. But there is away to do print on print the right way. It’s … Continue reading
Angelina did it, why can’t you? Super high slits are so in right now. So what does that mean for you. Personally I think a high slit can work on short and tall people, but it’s all about taking care of you legs. Try to tone up a bit, before you throw on anything with a high slit. I guess you don’t have to tone up, but a high slit looks so much better with toned and shaved legs. Showing off just one leg is a true statement. It’s show confidence, drive, and utter sexiness above all things. Basically what I’m saying is high slits are freaking HOT!
The wedge is the go to shoe of the summer. It’s funny because girls love them and guys hate them. Most guys think they are weird looking, but they just don’t understand how comfy they are. Remember ladies, we dress for ourselves first boys will learn to like what we wear. Personally the wedge is a perfect summer shoe because it can be casual and dressy. Worn with a sundress it’s sweet and effortless. Try out a pair of wedges with hot pants and fun top and automatically the look becomes rebellious and hot. Honestly it’s a perfect look for the club. I absolutely adore the summer wedge. There are also so many options. Extra high, super low, sling back, wrap around, and so much. I would definitely invest in a really good pair of wedges this summer because they are going to be around for awhile.
Oh how I dream of wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin’s someday, there is something about those red bottoms that I just can’t wrap my head around. They just scream sexy and I don’t know if there is a woman in the world who doesn’t want a pair. I introduce to you the summerissima, the perfect summer sandal. Now when I say sandal these shoes aren’t meant for beach wear. These are the kind fo shoes you wear to that summer dinner overlooking the sunset or the shoes you wear to the office and prop up on the desk( if you work in the fashion world). It’s a statement heel because they literally speak volumes without you saying a word. For me they say a few things like “hell yeah I’m a sexy ass bitch” or “That’s right I take pride in my feet and I put them on a pedestal, literally.” What do these Summerissima sandals say to you?
As collared shirts make an appearance this summer a statement necklace is the perfect way to tie your whole look together. Switch things up for a change and make your necklace the center of your entire outfit. There are so many options when it comes to necklaces, just fine the one that works for you. Don’t get anything to chunky otherwise it may literally strain your neck and way you down…remember neck braces are short from fashionable.
Ombre is taking over everywhere from hair, to nails, and now makeup. The trend is turning up on lips creating a 3-D effect making the lips look bigger for some of us this might be great news. So how does it work you ask? It’s all about combining two contrasting colors, such as, red and pink or burgundy and red. The darker shade goes on the outside of the lip fill in the center with the lighter shade. Use matte finish lipstick for the outside & inside or try a lipgloss for the center. This lips is fun and bold so make the rest of your make-up simple.
I know I’m always saying to be bold and bright but it doesn’t hurt to keep things sweet and subtle in the prettiest pastels. Light blue’s and pale pinks are perfect colors to add to your bright summer wardrobe. Mix pastels with other pastels to create a candy sweet confection that’s girly and chic. But don’t forget a pastel shade also looks great next to a bright color such as tangerine orange. It’s the perfect mix of bold and sweet. Don’t just add pastel shades to your wardrobe make sure you add a sugar rush hint of pastel into your accessories and make-up. A pale purple headband can be just as fun as a pastel pink lip gloss.
