The wedge is the go to shoe of the summer. It’s funny because girls love them and guys hate them. Most guys think they are weird looking, but they just don’t understand how comfy they are. Remember ladies, we dress for ourselves first boys will learn to like what we wear. Personally the wedge is a perfect summer shoe because it can be casual and dressy. Worn with a sundress it’s sweet and effortless. Try out a pair of wedges with hot pants and fun top and automatically the look becomes rebellious and hot. Honestly it’s a perfect look for the club. I absolutely adore the summer wedge. There are also so many options. Extra high, super low, sling back, wrap around, and so much. I would definitely invest in a really good pair of wedges this summer because they are going to be around for awhile.

Wear a Winter Dress this Friday Night
It’s always a question: What to wear when it gets cold outside and you still want to go out?
The solution is the winter dress. It’s tight, long sleeved, short and most often knitted. Make sure the dress is above the knee, it’s not 08′ people no long sweater dresses that look baggy and frumpy. Also don’t ever ever wear jean skirts, stockings, and uggs, it’s not even a faux pas it’s straight horror. I really hope you don’t call yourself fashionable if you think this look is appealing. Remain sexy, but warm without revealing every ounce of flesh in a knitted winter dress. Don’t ever think your style becomes irrelevant because of cold weather. I think the cold makes style even more fun because you can layer upon layer upon layer.

I like Boys Who Wear Sweaters
Sweaters have this reputation of being big fuzzy, itchy,patterned, hoodless sweatshirts…but it’s just not true.
Sweaters are SEXY especially on a GUY.
In my eyes a guy in a sweater tells the world he can pull off a weirdly patterned sweater while still looking masculine and that’s hot. Sweaters basically say “cuddle with me please” especially when a guy wears them. So warm and soft I say why not. They’re the perfect mx up in a guys wardrobe from the regular plaid button downs and white-tees a nice wool sweater says a whole lot. So boys this winter if you want to be cuddling up on these cold winter days wear a sweater and grab your girl.

Perfect Holiday Gift: An Animal Hat
We all need to stay warm this winter, so why not where an animal on your head.
I know it sounds weird, but I am really liking the animal hat trend. It’s time to embrace your corky childish side with any critter of your choosing. You can be a dog, a cat, an owl anything really. These knitted beanies are warm and cute. Meant for guys and girls this trend is really catching on, especially on my college campus, but also in the real world too. I’m getting my sister one for christmas. She’s going to love it. (I hope she doesn’t read this post). I will admit they are a little on the expensive side ranging from $25-$45 bucks, but it’t totally worth it. Why wouldn’t you want to stay warm with an animal on your head?

It’s Time to Meet the “Mullet” Skirt
For those of us vertically challenged the “mullet skirt” is the perfect alternative to the maxi trend. High/low short/long whatever you want to call it, the skirt looks like a mullet and can be worn a few different ways. You can wear the short part in the front with a pair booties to show off your legs. I would say this is more of a nighttime look. For day time switch it up wear the skirt sideways which creates more of a diagonal asymmetrical look. It’s like an ultra high slit. The “mullet skirt” is definitely a trend to watch during the fall season and I have a feeling you will be seeing it a lot more during the spring. Oh and I would say this is a piece that you need in your wardrobe.
The Fur Vest–Wear it Right
Wearing fur can go one of three ways.
1. You wear a fur vest and it totally works
2. You wear a fur vest and it’s too furry. So there fur is going in your mouth and you look like a walking bear in a pair of stilettos 
3. You wear fur and PETA attacks you.
I’m here to make sure wearing fur always goes way number one. Deciding to wear any type of fur is a very risky decision. In order to avoid problem situation number three just wear faux fur. Who can really tell the difference these days and besides do you really want to kill an animal just to be fashionable. In order to avoid situation number two begin by looking in the mirror. And ask yourself: Is this fur overwhelming? Is there something in my mouth? Do I look like a bear? If you can answer NO to each of these questions then you are well on your way to achieving situation number one.
Wearing fur should be an easy fashionable task, but make sure you follow the guidelines.

It’s an S&S Kind of Day—”Shorts and Stockings” Anyone
When you’re over putting on jeans or throwing on another pair of leggings just because they are comfortable and make your butt look good, it’s time to turn to another alternative. Shorts and stockings people! The look may seem backwards to some but it is very fashion forward. Shorts and stockings are the perfect combination between dressy and comfy. There are so many way to dress it and up and down.
Shorts can be pleated, silky, structured and paired with a nice noir pair of stockings and black booties.(If that doesn’t sound chic that I don’t know what does). Or you can go the grungy route. Pull out your super short shorts from the summer.
You know the jean shorts with lots of holes and really should be thrown away but you keep them because your love everything about them including that stain from the party you went to two summers ago. Those are the shorts I’m talking about. Pull on a pair and then take out a pair of your most battered up stockings. Holes are cool people it’s a look. Put on some combat boots and your grungy shorts and stocking look is complete.
Look at that shorts and stockings dressed up or down. Oh the possibilities, this is why “style is eternal”.
